DREW UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF THEATRE AND DANCE PRESENTS… MONSTRESS
adaptations of three canonical stories–Medusa, Sandman, and White Snake (in English and Mandarin).  Devised under the guidance of the Tectonic Theater Project’s Moment Work™ Institute by Drew’s New York Semester on Theatre Ensemble, these thematically related tales of “monstrous”  women are told in contrasting styles, featuring traditional Chinese shadow-puppetry, Gothic melodrama, and a modern slant on Greek mythology.  Directed by Jolie Tong.
