Monstress
DREW UNIVERSITY DEPARTMENT OF THEATRE AND DANCE PRESENTS... MONSTRESS
adaptations of three canonical stories--Medusa, Sandman, and White Snake (in English and Mandarin). Devised under the guidance of the Tectonic Theater Project's Moment Work™ Institute by Drew's New York Semester on Theatre Ensemble, these thematically related tales of "monstrous" women are told in contrasting styles, featuring traditional Chinese shadow-puppetry, Gothic melodrama, and a modern slant on Greek mythology. Directed by Jolie Tong.
