Frequently Asked Questions

Employee matching gift programs are corporate giving programs in which the company matches donations made by employees to eligible nonprofit organizations.

Requesting a matching gift is a brief process that must be initiated by you. You can do this by filling out and submitting a paper match form provided by your employer or through an electronic submission process. Company-specific information can be found by using the search tool.

Donate to Drew University.

Log into your company’s matching gift submission website (if you use the Double the Donation search tool above, you will receive a follow-up email linking to this page).

Once logged in, search for Drew University.

Select Drew University from the search results. If it is not found, manually enter Drew’s details.

Register the donation.

Note: Once complete, Drew and your employer will communicate to verify your initial donation, and complete the match, if eligible.

Your personal donation to Drew University is tax-deductible; however, any matching gift from your employer is not. Only the party who directly makes the contribution – either you or your employer – can claim a tax deduction for that gift.

For questions regarding your company’s programs including the status of the match, please contact your employer’s human resources or community giving department. For other giving questions, please reach out to University Advancement at advancement@drew.edu
