Drew students met with more than 100 local business leaders in Mead Hall, where they practiced their networking skills and learned more about career pathways in fields like finance, technology, sales and healthcare.

Some students landed interviews for internships, and several employers agreed to attend the Launch Career Opportunities Fair on March 17.

Debra Liebowitz, Drew Provost & Dean of the College of Liberal Arts & the Caspersen School of Graduate Studies, and Meghan Hunscher, President of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce (MCCC), opened the event by expressing gratitude for the mutually beneficial deepening partnership between Drew, the MCCC and the regional economy.

The event, co-sponsored by Allergan and uConnect, is another example of Drew’s ongoing commitment to provide networking and community engagement and immersive learning opportunities to students as part of the overall Launch experience.

Here’s a look at the event.
