From 2019's first day of classes.

This jump comes a year after Drew vaulted into the nation’s top 100 schools with a 36-spot climb to number 85.

Drew remains the top-ranked school in the state of New Jersey, and is the only one in the top 150.

Washington Monthly compiled its rankings “based on what they do for the country,” measured by social mobility, research, and promoting public service metrics.

In addition to the overall ranking, Washington Monthly ranked Drew as 61st in the country in their “Best Bang for the Buck” social mobility metric—up from 72nd in 2019—and 70th in their service ranking, which measures community, national, and military service involvement—breaking into the top 100 this year.

The ranking comes on the heels of several other national accolades from esteemed publications.

In September, U.S. News & World Report bumped Drew up four spots in their Best National Liberal Arts Colleges list; in August, The Princeton Review named Drew to their list of best colleges in the country, and in the nation’s top 20 in college theater productions and race/class interaction categories; and in July, Fiske Guide to Colleges placed Drew among their top 10 ‘Best Buys’ in the country for the second consecutive year.
