Drew University Remains a Forbes Top 500 College

Among 500 “colleges that shine”

August 2025 – Drew University has been named to Forbes’ America’s Top Colleges list.

The annual list includes 500 schools that “produce successful, high-earning, and influential graduates from all economic backgrounds, with less student debt.”

Forbes measured schools based entirely on undergraduate outcomes.

The metrics focused on the strong return on investment the schools offer their students, taking into account student debt, first-year retention rates, graduation rates, Pell-eligible student enrollment, and post-graduation salaries.

In all, Forbes used 14 metrics to “determine which 500 schools offer the best educational, financial, and career outcomes for all students.”

The Forbes ranking joins a chorus of accolades for Drew this rankings season.

Earlier this month, The Princeton Review included Drew in its Best 391 Colleges roundup, with Top 25 marks in supplemental categories for Best College Theatre and Lots of Race/Class Interaction.

The Princeton Review also placed Drew on its selective Best Value Schools list for the seventh consecutive year, echoing Forbes’ praise for offering strong return on investment for its students, and joining Washington Monthly’s placing Drew 51st in its Best Bang for the Buck category.
