- Evaluating and critiquing the current curriculum to identify areas that impede the progress of creating equitable spaces for people of color
- Assessing and integrating diversity (cultural, linguistic, epistemological, and decolonial) into the curriculum
- Fostering opportunities for people of color to share experiences and holding the institution accountable for its commitment to acknowledge its history and collusion in systemic oppression
- Securing an institutional commitment to anti-racism training
- Ensuring that people of color are represented in decision-making and hiring practices
- Supporting the formation of affinity groups, in recognition of the diversity of identities, experiences, and histories within Drew
- Formalizing and improving Drew’s institutional support for immigrant faculty
The faculty of color caucus was initiated by full-time faculty of color at Drew. If you self-identify as faculty of color and/or American Indian/First Nations/Indigenous faculty, you are welcome to attend. You can send us an email at [email protected].
