We are looking forward to celebrating our January and May graduates at Commencement during two ceremonies on

Saturday, May 17, 2025.

Commencement Update | 11.21.24

The morning ceremony will include graduates from the Drew Theological School, as well as the Caspersen School of Graduate Studies’ Arts & Letters. History & Culture, and Medical Humanities, Health & Society programs.

The afternoon ceremony will include graduates from the College of Liberal Arts, as well as the Caspersen School of Graduate Studies’ programs in Data Science, Education, Finance, and Teaching.

Both ceremonies are planned to take place on Mead Hall Lawn, weather permitting.

Additional details on start times, ticketing, parking, and other logistics are forthcoming, and will be shared with the community in the coming weeks.

Ticketing & Livestreaming

To ensure equitable outdoor seating for graduate families, there will be a guest ticket limit for each graduate.

There will be additional seating available at indoor streaming locations throughout campus for additional guests as well as livestream access anywhere in the world.

2025 Commencement Honorary Degree Speakers

Commencement speakers and honorary degree recipients for 2025 will be selected and announced during the Spring 2025 semester.

Commemorative Commencement Program Request

In an effort to honor our mission to reduce waste, Drew will be distributing the commemorative 2024 Commencement program, which includes awards, honors, and full graduate lists for all three schools, by request only.
