Drew University’s Class of 2022 Landed Jobs, Enrolled in Grad School at Amazing Rate

C’22 grads reported strong outcomes and salaries in Center for Career Development survey

February 2023 – Drew University’s Class of 2022 has far outpaced the national averages for the percentage of graduates actively working or enrolled in a graduate school program.

In a survey from Drew’s Center for Career Development, which checks in with students as they embark on their post-Drew lives and careers, more than 90 percent of C’22 respondents reported that they were either working (60.3 percent) or had enrolled in a program of continuing education (30.2 percent). The center obtained information from 81 percent of C’22 graduates, higher than national averages at similar schools.

The 90.4 percent of C’22 students working or in grad school compares very favorably to the national average of students at other institutions of Drew’s size, which comes in at 80.1 percent.

Another strong mark for the most recent Drew grads is that their average reported salaries were seven percent higher than those for the rest of the country’s 2022 grads.

The most common industries for employment were education and teaching; healthcare services; advertising, media, and public relations; finance; and STEM research.

Of the C’22 students who have gone on to grad school, more than 75 percent are pursuing a master’s degree, while nearly 20 percent are in a PhD, JD, or MD program.

These students enrolled in programs at some of the top schools in the country, including Columbia, Georgetown, Johns Hopkins, NYU, and Penn, and several stayed in The Forest at Drew’s Caspersen School of Graduate Studies.
