Seventh consecutive year Drew has made the selective list
June 2025 – Drew University has made The Princeton Review’s Best Value Colleges list for the seventh consecutive year.
Drew has also recently received high marks for value in Washington Monthly, which placed Drew 51st in the country in its Best Bang for the Buck category, and U.S. News & World Report, which ranked Drew eighth in the nation for providing social mobility opportunities to Pell-eligible students.
The Princeton Review featured schools that earned the publication’s highest Return on Investment (ROI) ratings.
The ROI ratings focused primarily on academics, affordability, and career preparation metrics. They are based on more than 40 data points from 2024-25 surveys, including PayScale.com’s tracking of starting ($70,800) and mid-career ($136,700) salaries of alumni with at least a bachelor’s degree.
“We congratulate Drew University along with all the other exceptional institutions that made our ‘Best Value Colleges for 2025’ list,” said Rob Franek C’93, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review and member of the Drew Board of Trustees.
“They offer outstanding academics and excellent career services, and they demonstrate extraordinary commitments to affordability via generous financial aid and comparatively low sticker prices.”
Drew is one of only four New Jersey schools to make the list of 209. Five New Jersey schools were named last year.
Drew was also named to The Princeton Review’s most recent Best 390 Colleges list, keeping alive the school’s streak of being included on the list every year since its 1992 debut. Drew also ranked in the guide’s Top 20 in Best College Theater and Lots of Race/Class Interaction categories, both based on student surveys.
