Environmental Studies and Sustainability
Explore disruptions to Earth’s global life-support systems, threats to biotic and human communities, the challenge of environmental justice. Drew’s major in Environmental Studies and Sustainability gives students an understanding of complex and ever-changing environmental issues. And with Drew’s shortTREC programs, students can gain unique experiences by studying Building a Sustainable Practice in India or Food, Culture, & Sustainability in Tuscany.

Environmental Justice Minor
Degrees in environmental justice are a rarity among liberal arts schools. Thankfully, Drew’s rich history in environmental justice and passionate faculty allowed Drew to add it to its list of minors for fall 2023. Students can earn credits through an interdisciplinary roster of classes in environmental studies and sustainability, anthropology, English, and women’s and gender studies.
