Events included a series of networking opportunities with an impressive and varied roster of employers, professional development workshops covering topics ranging from resume creation to interview preparation, and a mixer exploring Drew’s diverse immersive experiences, key components of the Drew student experience aimed at building transferable skills students can highlight in future job and graduate school applications.

“These were pivotal moments for students to actively engage in shaping their professional journeys,” said Kim Giorgio, director of the CCD.

Giorgio added that the CCD’s goal was to provide students with more than information and introductions, but also an opportunity for self-reflection and peer-to-peer networking.

“The unique blend of opportunities Career Week presented empowers students to explore their career paths and equips them with the skills and confidence to navigate their careers effectively.”

The CCD will hold a second Career Week in fall 2024 semester, October 14-18.
