The Committee on Academic Policy and Curriculum (CAPC) reviews all revisions and additions to Arts & Sciences curriculum. CAPC also reviews student requests for general education requirement substitutions.

Major/Minor/Certificate Forms
- Revision to Existing Major/Minor/Program
- Select New Proposal from the right-hand side under Actions
- It may ask you to enter your Drew email address if you are accessing Coursedog for the first time in a day
- Select Major/Minor Form from the “What type of form are you looking for” drop-down.
- Then choose the appropriate form: Changes to an Existing Major or Changes to an Existing Minor and complete the prompts
- Select New Proposal from the right-hand side under Actions
- Proposal for a New Major/Program
- Proposal for a New Minor

SUBSTITUTION FOR GENERAL EDUCATION COURSE REQUEST FORM >
Use the above form to submit a request to substitute a course that does not currently meet a general education (gen ed) requirement to count for that gen ed requirement. Requests go to the Committee on Academic Policy and Curriculum (CAPC) who will notify the student and the Office of the Registrar on any decisions. Attributes include:

IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE

This form is for students who are planning a self-designed immersive experience outside of the offerings provided by Drew. This form includes prompts for the following: should be completed if you:
- Students seeking pre-approval for an experience that has not yet happened.
- Students who have already completed or are currently working on an experience that you think might qualify as an immersive experience.
- International student who did not take AMST 101 or took AMST 101 prior to Fall 2023.
SPECIAL MAJORS/MINORS
These are forms for students working with their advisor to develop a special (self-designed) major or minor. There is also a form for students who have already been approved for a special major or special minor but wish to petition CAPC to make changes to it.
