A compilation of reflections from Drew students, alums, faculty, staff
June 2023 – Pride Month, observed annually during June, is a time to celebrate and uplift the LGBTQ+ community.
It’s also a time to reflect upon the 1969 Stonewall Inn riots, which launched the gay rights movement, and to continue to raise awareness for the many issues surrounding equality for LGBTQ+ individuals.
To celebrate Pride Month, Drew students, alums, faculty, and staff are telling their stories on what Pride Month means to them and how we can use this time as a teaching and learning opportunity.
Read on to learn more and be inspired in this compilation of voices and perspectives on Pride Month from the Drew community.
Happy Pride!
