Robert K. Murawski (Chair)

Associate Professor

Dr. Murawski works in the areas of quantum optics, coherent Raman spectroscopy, femtosecond lasers, semiconductor lasers including quantum cascade lasers, dimensional scaling in atomic and chemical physics, mathematical physics, and chaos theory. He received his Ph.D. from Stevens Institute of Technology, and was a postdoctoral research associate at Texas A&M.

James M. Supplee

Professor of Physics, Liaison Officer for the Dual Degree Program in Engineering and Applied Science

Dr. Supplee works in the areas of laser physics, spectroscopy, and semi-classical optics. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Dallas and worked at Bell Laboratories. He is also an adjunct professor of physics at Stevens Institute of Technology.

Judith Redling

Associate Provost, Center for Academic Excellence

Dr. Redling’s teaching and research experiences focus on learning assessment and pedagogy to improve outcomes for students in STEM disciplines.

Kamal Benslama

Assoc. Professor

Professor Benslama

Dr. Benslama is an experimental particle physicist. He is a visiting  scientist at Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (Fermilab), located just outside Batavia, Illinois, near Chicago. Fermilab is a United States Department of Energy national laboratory specializing in high-energy particle physics . Dr. Benslama is a member of Institutional Board of the Mu2e Collaboration at Fermilab and the principal investigator of the experimental particle physics group at Drew University. He is also a former member of the ATLAS experiment, at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) at CERN in Switzerland, which is considered the largest experiment in the history of physical science.
Robert L. Fenstermacher

Professor Emeritus, Oxnam Professor of Science and Society

Dr. Fenstermacher works in the areas of astronomy, modern optics, and undergraduate research. He received his Ph.D. at the Pennsylvania State University.
