A new provost model further aligns academic planning and resource allocation with our core mission: students.

A revamped academic leadership structure debuted this fall, as recommended to President MaryAnn Baenninger by a working group of Drew academic leaders. The new structure institutes a provost model across the three schools and the libraries, with the provost, or chief academic officer, guiding curriculum, faculty affairs and all aspects of student development across the university. This strategic realignment of leadership reduces duplicative administrative posts while fostering increased coordination and collaboration. And that means as many resources as possible can be devoted to the success of Drew students.
