International Relations
Drew’s international relations majors provides students with thought-provoking courses and multiple experiential learning opportunities, including the New York Semester on the United Nations, to explore how competing global, regional, or domestic factors affect relations between state and non-state actors as they deal with an increasing number of global challenges and threats.

Political Science Major
Drew’s political science major provides students with a solid grounding in American politics, international relations, comparative politics, and political theory. Through thought-provoking courses and multiple experiential learning opportunities, political science majors work closely with the faculty to explore politics and government from many different viewpoints.

Law, Justice, and Society Minor
As a student in the Law, Justice and Society program, you will become familiar with law in different societies. More importantly, you will learn a holistic way of thinking about the interactions of law, justice and society. This will all serve you well whether you go into law or another field.
Pre-Law
Many of our majors are interested in pursuing a law degree after their studies at Drew. Chelsea Ebin (cebin@drew.edu) is currently our Faculty Pre-Law Advisor and he works closely with Gwen DeBenedetto (gdebenedetto@drew.edu) of Drew’s Center for Career Development to help students navigate the law school application process.

Real-world Learning Experiences
Students have the opportunity to complete research projects as a part of the New York Semester on Social Entrepreneurship, the NYC UN Semester, and the NYC Media & Communications nycTRECs. Also available are the Food, Culture, and Sustainability in Tuscany and Spanish Language and Culture in Barcelona ShortTRECs.

UN Semester
At the United Nations building, and in Drew’s UN classroom just across 1st Avenue, students meet with diplomats, policy experts and UN Secretariat staff to understand how the UN functions.
Communities
Drew International Relations students can join a variety of groups and organizations, including:
- The Center on Religion, Culture and Conflict – focuses critical attention on the complex ways in which people from different cultural, ethnic and religion traditions interact, and how both difference and similarity can serve as a resource for building peace.
